Complaints, I have many.  No use to give them voice.  They mean nothing when all is said and done.  I have made a bit of pocket change lately doing portrait work.  Is not a bad thing and I find that I enjoy the distraction.  Some of the work has actually been instructional and enjoyable.  Some of the photos that have been submitted are very old and close to a person's heart.  The images that I find in the end have a life of their own and I can see their eyes shining back at me.

"Disappointment is my only friend..."  the song goes.  Oh, well. I think I made a really big mistake.  I forgotten why I actually try to create images.  I thought I could actually make a dollar or two, forgetting that 1) I'm not really that good. 2) The economy is the pitts. 3) There are people that have actually gone to college for this to make a living. In explaination, my image of "Sharing" is my example.  I was actually invited to share images with an actual incorporated business.  Needless to say, I was extrememly flattered.  Who wouldn't want something on an advertising piece?  I'd be tickled to see something of mine on a lighter or b

Working with some new tools...got a wacom tablet with my bonus!  Now, if I can just figure out how to use it.  I'll do that while I'm trying to figure out how to use my paint-photo shop and how to do digital painting...do I prefer air-brush to paintbrush?...or the palette knife?...and how layers work...I'm sitting here smiling as all this junk runs through my tiny head and a glass of canshay by my side!!  I love my computer and all my lovely paints!...where else can I paint and not make a big mess?  Love Much!  Terri-Byrd
